AnxietyAnxiety is often the cause of stress.
![]() And it can be a useful thing for people in order to achieve success. For example, athletes or performers cherish the acute anxiety they feel in the lead up to a race or a performance. It can feed into their ability to perform at their peak. However, it would be unhealthy to stay at this level of anxiety all the time. You may find yourself snapping at people and losing your perspective along with your temper. And generally being on a short fuse. You may want to look at long-term methods of dealing with the anxiety. In the meantime, there are some self-help leaflets available, designed to help you support yourself.
