This seminar will focus on the centrality of the therapeutic relationship through theoretical lectures, readings and discussions and will cover emerging and advanced concepts in the theories and methods of relational psychotherapy.
We will explore the relational methods for both individual and relational group psychotherapy and how the methods are effectively used in the therapy of both acute and cumulative trauma, dissociation and the schizoid process, obsession and shame.
This Professional Development Seminar will be both experiential and didactic in format.
A major part of this program will be devoted to participants’ presenting specific cases from their own therapeutic practices for discussion and consultation.

A certificate of Continuing Professional Development will be issued to those who complete the series of seminars.
